Greta LA BELLA

Greta LA BELLA joined the FRB in October 2025 as a post-doctoral fellow at Cesab in Montpellier. She is working on the FELLOW project, which aims to investigate the spatio-temporal dynamics of weed communities and their role in biodiversity-mediated ecosystem services along a gradient of human pressures.

 

 

Her research interests focus on how natural and anthropogenic factors shape biodiversity patterns and ecosystem functioning. In her previous studies, she explored the effects of biological invasions, climate change, and land-use changes on extreme ecosystems such as mountains and coastal dunes, with a strong emphasis on their conservation under global change.
