Thierry Oberdorff is director of research in ecology at the IRD.

 

As a researcher in ecology with a background in macro-ecology, Thierry Oberdorff works on understanding the models and processes behind diversity, preferably using riparian fish as model taxa. He is also interested in the consequences of anthropogenic effects, including climate change, on the structure and function of freshwater communities.
